Government ends negotiations

posted 12 Mar 2012, 06:24 by Andrew Baisley   [ updated 12 Mar 2012, 06:36 ]
The Government's announced on Friday 9th March that it has ended negotiations with the unions on its proposals on public sector pensions.

The Government still require teachers to pay more, work longer and get less. The revisions don't address our core objections that teachers can't work to 68 and that our pensions contributions are being increased by 50% on average with none of that money going into our pension fund.

There are three documents these explain the changes: short briefing, PowerPoint presentation & in-depth briefing.

Find out how much these changes affect you: updated pensions calculator.
